Frequently asked questions
Is there a limit on the number or size of files?
No artificial limit — you can merge as many PDFs as you like. Very large files simply take longer because everything is processed on your own device.
Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?
No. The merge runs entirely in your browser using a local PDF library. Your files never leave your computer.
What if one of my PDFs is password-protected?
Password-protected PDFs cannot be merged by the tool. Remove the password first (for example, by printing the PDF to a new file), then try again.
