Optasis Tools

Undertale Text Box Generator

Create custom dialogue for memes, roleplay, and fanfiction.

How to Use: Guide

We built this tool to be the ultimate sandbox for RPG fans. Here is how to create the perfect dialogue box:

Step 1

Set the Character

Character Name: Enter a name (e.g., “SANS”) if you want it to appear in the top-left corner. Leave it blank for standard narration.

Upload Sprite: Use the dropdown to upload a picture.

Color Mode: Toggle “Full Color” or “Black & White” to match battle styles.

Pro Tip: For the best look, use a pixel-art image with a transparent background.
Step 2

Write the Dialogue

The Text: Type your message. The tool automatically wraps the text to fit the box.

The Asterisk (*): By default, dialogue starts with an asterisk. Toggle this off for “Save Point” messages or system notifications.

Step 3

Choose the Font

Standard (VT323): The default 8-bit font for narration/NPCs.

Comic Sans: Used exclusively by Sans. (Type in lowercase!)

Papyrus: Used by Papyrus. (Type in ALL CAPS!)

Wingdings: Used for Gaster theories and secrets.

Step 4

Download

Click “Download Image” to save your creation as a high-quality PNG.

You can then drop this image directly into Photoshop, Canva, or Premiere Pro.
